Competition rules:
1. The competition will take place in one round.
2. Competitors will perform at least two pieces of different styles and periods, both within the time limit of each category.
3. One of the pieces performed must be for dulcimer without musical accompaniment from another instrument.
4. The prerequisite is to play by heart. Playing from sheet music is not allowed.
5. Successful competitors will receive a diploma with a place in the gold, silver and bronze bands, and the most successful will receive prizes in kind.
- Age categories and time limits:
1. category: year of birth 2015 ( or younger ) 3-5 minutes
2. category: year of birth 2014 4-6 minutes
3. category: year of birth 2013 5-7 minutes
4. category: year of birth 2012 6-8 minutes
5. category: year of birth 2011 and 2010 7-8 minutes
6. category: year of birth 2009 and older 7-9 minutes - An expert jury will evaluate:
1. technical maturity and overall artistic expression of the competitors
2. the difficulty of selecting sheet music
3. compliance with the time limit within the competition categories - Participation fee is 30 € (competitor, accompanist, teacher)
- It must be paid to the account in ČSOB IBAN: SK36 7500 0000 0040 0816 3267, variable symbol 1111, the name of the ZUŠ that sends the participant to the competition should be indicated in the note.
- The deadline for payment of the fee and submission of applications is 30.4.2026
- Travel costs are covered by the sending school.
