The first written mention of the village of Jakubov\u00e1 Vo\u013ea from 1315 says that in 1312 King Charles R\u00f3bert of Anjou gave the nobleman Rikolf a forest south of the village of \u010cervenica, above the right bank of the Torysa River, for his military merits, among other things.
