This is the name given to a wooded hillside right next to the River Torysa. \u0160anec is mainly used for recreation and, due to its proximity to the town (with access directly from the main road), it is a popular destination in every season. You can reach the foot of the hill via various paths; the routes are known as \u201e<a href=\"https:\/\/www.regionsaris.sk\/en\/prirodne-krasy\/svablovske-chodnicky-kupelny-chodnicek\/\" data-type=\"prirodne-krasy\" data-id=\"2931\">The \u0160vab\u013eovsk\u00e9 footpaths<\/a>\u201c. At the top there is a flat area where, in September 2020, a ceremonial opening took place\u00a0<strong>\u201eLookout tower on the Chance\u201c<\/strong>. The construction of the lookout tower was realized thanks to the financial support of the Government Office of the Slovak Republic, as a means to promote tourism and increase the attractiveness of the suburban<strong>\u00a0\u0160vab\u013eovka Forest Park.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The \u0160anca Lookout Tower and its surroundings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The lookout tower is at an altitude of 465 m above sea level. The location and the maximum height of the lookout tower were limited due to the nearby Ra\u017e\u0148any airport, its protection zones and the safety of air traffic.
