It is a torso of the wetland biotope of the Ko\u0161ice basin preserved as a narrow gap surrounded by agricultural land.<br>The protected Siberian Iris habitat is one of the high-value stabilising elements in intensively used agricultural landscapes and provides refuge for many other protected species of plants and animals, e.g. the field rattlesnake (Crex crex). The area of the site is 11,394m2.
