The Giant Swing in Bu\u010de<\/strong> It is a new tourist attraction in the Bachure\u0148 Mountains, combining a rest during a hike with views of the surrounding mountain ranges. It is situated in the Bu\u010de saddle, not far from the cross above the Ren\u010di\u0161ov\u2013Bu\u010de area, approximately 700 metres from the summit Bu\u010de, at an altitude of 1,005 metres<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The swing stands in an open mountainous landscape characterised by meadows, offering sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. It also serves as a prominent landmark and photo spot on the hiking trails through Bachure\u0148.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A giant wooden swing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The wooden swing is approximately five metres<\/strong> and up to five people can use it at the same time. The main seat is fitted with a backrest, and there are two smaller seats on either side of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its location respects the natural character of the area and provides a place to take a short break whilst out walking or cycling. Thanks to its size, the swing is visible from a considerable distance and naturally complements the tourist infrastructure in this part of the mountain range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Views from Bu\u010de<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the town\u2019s biggest attractions is\u00a0views of the surrounding mountain ranges<\/strong>. From the open, grassy slopes, one can see, for example, Branisko, the eastern part of the Low Tatras, the Belianske Tatras, Chergov<\/a> or Slansk\u00e9 vrchy<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most beautiful views can be seen directly from the ridge sections, so it\u2019s worth combining a visit to the swing with a walk along the hiking trail, rather than just stopping at the photo spot itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to get to the Bu\u010de swing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are several walking routes leading to the swing. One option is the route from Lipovce following the yellow tourist trail<\/strong>, which is just under three kilometres long and involves a climb of approximately 360 metres. The ascent takes about an hour and a half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other options include routes from La\u010dnova, Ren\u010di\u0161ova or Hermanoviec<\/strong>. Cyclists can, for example, take the green cycle route from La\u010dnov or the longer route following the red markings via the Magura Pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the advantages of this location is that you can plan a trip from various directions and combine a visit to the swing with other places in the Bachure\u0148 Mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A swing as part of a walking route<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The giant Bu\u010de swing is not a destination in its own right, but above all a stop on a walking route<\/strong>. From there, you can continue, for example, towards Mind\u017eov\u00e1 and the Mind\u017eov\u00e1 Lookout Tower<\/strong>, which stands 13.5 metres tall and is situated near the Chot\u00e1rna mountain hut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another option is to continue over the Magura Pass or towards La\u010dnov. The walk can then be extended to include\u00a0La\u010dnovsk\u00fd Canyon<\/a>, The La\u010dnov Gravity Anomaly<\/a>, the Srdie\u010dko viewpoint<\/a> or the Zl\u00e1 diera cave<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The giant Bu\u010de swing is therefore a handy stop-off point on your journey of discovery the Bachure\u0148 mountain range and the natural attractions of the \u0160ari\u0161 region<\/strong>. Thanks to the combination of views, walking routes and nearby natural sites, it can form part of either a short day trip or a longer, full-day hike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
