The event was attended by tourism stakeholders who were looking for new opportunities to enrich the tourist offer.<\/i><\/b>\n\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Inforoute is part of a cooperation project between OOCR Region \u0160ari\u0161, OOCR Horn\u00fd Zempl\u00edn and OOCR Visit Ko\u0161ice, which has been meeting since last year with the aim of creating joint products for domestic and foreign tourists and the MICE sector. It was during these meetings that the project \u201eThe Salt's Characteristics\u201c was created, the pilot version of which has just been completed by the participants. The project was evaluated by the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Slovak Republic as an example of good practice and cooperation.<\/span>\n\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.regionsaris.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Den-Slanska-cesta-2025-35.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-33496 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.regionsaris.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Den-Slanska-cesta-2025-35-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"752\" height=\"501\" \/><\/a>\n\n\u00a0\n\n\u00a0\n\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants had the opportunity to visit several important places, where guides gave them a detailed introduction to the history, culture and nature of each place. A tour of the \u0160\u00f3o\u0161 mansion in Hanu\u0161ovce nad Top\u013eou gave an insight into the life of the local nobility and also revealed the historical significance of the mansion in relation to trade and the administration of the salt roads, with architectural details making this monument unique. Afterwards, the group went on a climb to the Zbojn\u00edk Castle (So\u013enohrad) in Rusk\u00e1 Nov\u00e1 Ves, where the participants learned about the history of the castle and its importance for the \u0160ari\u0161 region.<\/span>\n\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.regionsaris.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Den-Slanska-cesta-2025-23.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-33492 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.regionsaris.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Den-Slanska-cesta-2025-23-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"750\" height=\"500\" \/><\/a>\n\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lunch and discussion in Pre\u0161ov provided a space for sharing experiences and ideas for improving tourism services in the region. A guided tour at the Solivar Museum offered visitors a fascinating insight into the history of salt mining and processing and its role in the life of local communities, complemented by the opportunity to purchase original souvenirs.<\/span>\n\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.regionsaris.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Den-Slanska-cesta-2025-70.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-33512 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.regionsaris.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Den-Slanska-cesta-2025-70-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"737\" height=\"491\" \/><\/a>\n\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The info tour continued in the village of Vla\u010da, where participants watched a demonstration of traditional bread preparation and tasted freshly baked products, thus combining history with local traditions.\u00a0<\/span>\n\n\u00a0\n\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.regionsaris.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Den-Slanska-cesta-2025-7.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-33480 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.regionsaris.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Den-Slanska-cesta-2025-7-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"752\" height=\"501\" \/><\/a>\n\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The \u201eThe Salt's Character\u201c info tour confirmed that the Slansk\u00e9 vrchy subdestination offers visitors a rich combination of history, natural beauty and cultural experiences. The participants appreciated the expert guidance of the guides, the wealth of new information on the functioning of the individual sites and gained valuable inspiration on how the tourist offer could be made even more attractive.<\/span>\n\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.regionsaris.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Den-Slanska-cesta-2025-11.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-33484 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.regionsaris.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Den-Slanska-cesta-2025-11-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"782\" height=\"521\" \/><\/a>\n\n\u00a0\n\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This pilot product will be offered to tourists in the future so that they can experience a journey \u201ein the footsteps of salt\u201c -
