The only things that spring to mind are beer or a vague description <em>\u201eEastern Slovakia\u201c.<\/em> We\u2019ve decided to change that and show the rest of the country what beauty, attractions and quirks they\u2019ll find here.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"299\" src=\"https:\/\/www.regionsaris.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/nove-logo-claim-clanok-oocrrs.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4787\" style=\"aspect-ratio:2.675732794266287;width:503px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.regionsaris.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/nove-logo-claim-clanok-oocrrs.png 800w, https:\/\/www.regionsaris.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/nove-logo-claim-clanok-oocrrs-300x112.png 300w, https:\/\/www.regionsaris.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/nove-logo-claim-clanok-oocrrs-768x287.png 768w, https:\/\/www.regionsaris.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/nove-logo-claim-clanok-oocrrs-18x7.png 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although at first glance it may resemble a folk pattern, the truth is quite different. The symbol is made up of punctuation marks! You\u2019ll find colons, long and soft diacritics \u2013 a reference to the linguistic and cultural diversity of \u0160ari\u0161. Slovak, the \u0160ari\u0161 dialect, Rusyn and Romani all intermingle here. We draw tourists\u2019 attention to our region whilst teaching them about the language and geography. We combine informative content with humour, hyperbole and the contrast between the wider world and \u0160ari\u0161.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Destination videos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Imagine a comedy programme on TV. If one or two people from \u0160ari\u0161 or Eastern Slovakia appear amongst the comedians, they immediately take the reins and the whole show is theirs. You\u2019ve surely experienced this before. It is precisely this exuberance and boundless enthusiasm of the people from \u0160ari\u0161 that we\u2019ve decided to build our promotional videos around. We showcase the region through colourful characters, incredible stories and encounters.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-9-16 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\ud83d\udcf8 The legend of the richest man in \u0160ari\u0161\" width=\"422\" height=\"750\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/I0peJK9X2f0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The wealthiest person from \u0160ari\u0161 <\/strong>There\u2019s a completely unverified legend about Vasi\u013e, who is said to have been the first person in the world to invent the selfie stick. Or rather, a hoe! After all, in \u0160ari\u0161 you have the most beautiful sights all to yourselves and you don\u2019t have to queue for ages to see them. The problem is, there\u2019s no one there to take your photo. Although there are plenty of prejudices and myths doing the rounds here, at the end of the day, humanity always prevails. Imagine an endlessly boring meeting that the manager is trying to liven up with a discussion about holidays. Well, who\u2019s going to be impressed by Dubai or the Emirates these days? Everyone\u2019s been there already!
