Pre\u0161ov<\/a> once again came alive with an atmosphere of exploration and discovery. May event Discovering Pre\u0161ov<\/a> brought the participants an interesting walk through the streets of the eastern part of the city, during which they got to know important historical buildings, architecture and stories connected with the rich past of the \u0160ari\u0161 metropolis.<\/p>\n\n\n

The route of the excursion led from the Franciscan Square with the dominant Church of St. Joseph<\/a> and the adjacent monastery. Participants then walked past the former Women's Royal Teachers' Institute or the historic Sancta Maria Institute. There was also a stop at the former Royal Catholic Gymnasium, the Neolog Jewish Synagogue and the County House, which are among the important architectural and cultural monuments of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n

The event offered not only an insight into the history of Pre\u0161ov, but also an opportunity to meet some interesting personalities. The participants were personally invited by the renowned cartoonist Fedor Vico to the ZLAT\u00dd S\u00daDOK 2026 cartoon exhibition. This year\u2019s exhibition theme is dedicated to beer, and visitors can view it at the Russian House in Pre\u0161ov.<\/p>\n\n\n

Discovering Pre\u0161ov<\/a> once again confirmed that the history of the town can captivate the general public and creates a space for learning about the cultural heritage of the region in an unconventional and experiential way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
