Their repertoire combines poignant klezmer melodies with elements of jazz, folk music and spirited Balkan rhythms. Their music is built on virtuoso performances on instruments such as the violin, clarinet and accordion, complemented by captivating vocals in Yiddish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>When?<\/strong> 27 August 2026 (Thursday) at 7.00 pm<br><strong>Where?<\/strong> Orthodox Synagogue, Okru\u017en\u00e1 32, Pre\u0161ov<br><strong>Admission:<\/strong> 8 \u20ac \/ 7 \u20ac \/ 5 \u20ac<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The band is renowned for its ability to get the audience dancing, whilst maintaining a deep respect for the genre\u2019s historical roots. They regularly perform at international festivals and cultural events, where they share the joy of the authentic and vibrant klezmer tradition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A list of the specific musical instruments and the current line-up of the Ostrava Klezmer Band, which give their performances their characteristic lively sound:<\/strong><br>\u00b7 Vocals: Johana \u010cernohorsk\u00e1 (who often sings in Yiddish or Hebrew)<br>.
