It was consecrated in 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is&nbsp;<strong>a replica of the burnt-down wooden church<\/strong>&nbsp;originally dedicated to St Cosmas and St Damian, which burnt down in 1908. The foundations of the original church can be found on the square in front of the basilica, where it once stood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">An observation tower as part of a wooden church<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A major attraction<\/strong>&nbsp;the newly built wooden church&nbsp;<strong>is its tower, which serves as a viewing point<\/strong>. Visitors can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the village of \u013dutina, the \u0160ari\u0161 Highlands and the slopes of the \u010cergov Mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whilst you\u2019re there, be sure not to miss the mini-open-air museum of wooden churches, where you\u2019ll find more than 40 miniature gems of folk and religious architecture of the Eastern Rite.
