Exposition of folk architecture <\/strong>is located in Bardejov Spa and was opened in 1965 as the oldest facility of its kind in Slovakia. Organizationally, it belongs to the \u0160ari\u0161 Museum<\/strong> in Bardejov. The visit will take you back in time to the village, which shows how it used to be and how it used to live.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n\nUp to 31 objects\n

On an area of 1.5 ha there is a park and garden arrangement - ethnopark arranged already 31 objects<\/strong> - from log houses through economic, technical and sacral buildings. All of them are a proof and a beautiful reminder of the folk culture and architecture of two ethnic groups - Slovak and Ruthenian, living in the region of Upper \u0160ari\u0161 and Northern Zempl\u00edn. They date back to the 19th and 20th centuries and typologically belong to wooden buildings of the Carpathian type.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Another interesting open-air museum<\/h3>\n

Eastern Slovakia is rich in cultural heritage, which is preserved by open-air museums. Another famous one is Open-air museum in Svidn\u00edk<\/strong>. It is an ethnographic exposition in nature and there is also a wooden temple of Saint Paraskeva. This open-air museum offers visitors an authentic insight into the life of our ancestors, traditional crafts and architecture.<\/p>\n

The history of the local culture is also preserved Wooden churches<\/strong>, scattered throughout eastern Slovakia. They are a gem of folk architecture and their unique beauty and historical significance contribute to the preservation of the cultural heritage of the region.
