It collects, professionally catalogues and preserves artefacts that document the material and spiritual culture, traditions, art, religious life and everyday life of the Rusyn population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The museum is located in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.regionsaris.sk\/en\/lokalita\/mesto-presov\/\" data-type=\"lokalita\" data-id=\"26\">Pre\u0161ov<\/a>, which is an important centre of Rusyn culture and one of the regions with a historically significant Rusyn population. Through permanent displays, exhibitions, lectures and educational activities, it brings the history and cultural heritage of the Rusyns to the public. It is also involved in academic research and publishing, and collaborates with specialist and cultural institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The SNM \u2013 Museum of Rusyn Culture plays a significant role in preserving the cultural identity of the Rusyns and in showcasing their cultural heritage.
