In the village of Kukov\u00e1 there is a remarkable rococo-classical manor house, built in 1770 - 1780, with later additions. It belonged to the B\u00e1nov family, who lived in Kukov\u00e1 from the 16th century until 1945 and owned almost half of the village, the distillery and the manor house in which the family lived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is a single-storey, three-winged building, with a court of honour on the south side, into which opens a portico with channeled footprints. The north elevation has a projecting three-bay bay and is articulated by pilasters. Above the windows are arched overlight cornices, beneath which is a moulded shell. The main hall has a vaulted ceiling with rich stucco decoration. The building has a mansard roof over the main wing and a hipped roof over the side wings. The manor house had outbuildings - granaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the restitution, the municipality handed over the manor house to the direct descendant of the last owner, who was also the owner of large areas in the cadastre of Kukova and its wider surroundings, namely Pavel Ban. He finally left his manor in 1945. Together with his father Arpad he is buried in the grounds of the Evangelical church in Kukova.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
