Lookout tower on Čierna kopa – “Čarna hura” (Black Hill)

Magnificent views of the entire Upper Šariš region. Breathing with folklore, the municipality of Krásna Lúka boasts with a lookout tower which local volunteers built in 2012 on a small hill just above the village. The lookout tower offers a view of the entire Upper Šariš region (Branisko, Bachureň, Stráže, Čergov) and part of the Spiš region (Pieniny). A high cross was erected by the lookout tower. You can relax and pray at the statue of the Virgin Mary of Medjugorje placed nearby. The lookout tower is a place popular with families with children or individuals seeking inner peace. There is also a make-shift oven for barbecue. Once a year a pilgrimage on the occasion of the Feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is being held there.
